Cariitti’s new product Sauna Ultra Ambient is the result of a long product development process. The product has been designed with the stresses and challenges of high temperature fluctuations in mind. Sauna Ultra Ambient is suitable for temperatures ranging from -40°C to +125°C.
Peter Ruokonen, CEO of Cariitti, says that the product development process has used all the knowledge Cariitti has accumulated over the years about the behaviour of similar products in different extreme conditions.
We wanted to bring a new multi-purpose product to the market and solve real challenges for customers to overcome the limitations of temperature fluctuations, Peter explains.
The market has long been in need of a lighting solution that would also be suitable for the sauna ceiling, where the highest sauna temperatures occur. In addition to the sauna, Ultra Ambient can be used on the edges of outdoor pools, terraces and piers, outdoor railings and other areas subject to high temperature fluctuations.
Peter is confident that the product will be well received by the market, as this is exactly the kind of product that has been longed for. In Finland, temperature fluctuations are high between the seasons.
With Ultra Ambient you can light up your outdoor pool in the -30°C frosts of mid-winter and the same lighting will brighten up the ceiling of your sauna in the +85°C heat, says Peter, describing the versatility of the product.
Ready-to-install kit straight out of the box
Ultra Ambient’s design and ease of installation are second to none. The flexible strips are extremely easy to install and can even be cut to the right length by using standard kitchen scissors. The product is supplied as 2 and 6 meter ready-to-install sets.
Thanks to the flexibility of Ultra Ambient, we also use it to backlight our Aspectu and Eclipse products, says Peter.
